To honor a dear friend who loves the Eugene Country Fair and has a different hairdo every time I see her. She has been sporting this little # lately. I used a Gel plate and blue and yellow craft paint, laid some wisteria leaves, little coral maple leaves and a few others down on the paint and pulled 2 prints. This one was the 2nd print after removing the leaves. I stamped the face colored it with chalks. Wish that color showed up better, but my scanner never does justice to my originals. Oh well. I created her hairdo with wool fibers and hand-needle felted them onto a piece of wool felt. Happy to report it went really quickly and without injury. Positioned the sentiment and embossed. Decided to give our flower child a little holographic flower to adorn her tresses. This was so very fun to make!
