This is for Stefâs lovely Color Challenge: Costal Cabana (paper, DSP & roses), Pool Party (vase and heart), Mossy Meadow (stem, leaves & sentiment) and silver (DSP, embossing, rhinestones) with dessert of heat embossing (image).
I used Cathyâs excellent Sketch Challenge â turned it upright and moved the sentiment. My #3 strip is Smokey Slate DSP (for the silver color); it was not long enough so I pieced a strip together. I added the Embosslit heart in Pool Party to cover the seam. Two fabulous challenges! I was inspired to make this for someone with a December birthday who always seemed to get holiday looking cards. She likes hearts as I do. TFL

Lovely! The mint and grey looks so wonderful together! So nice for your friend to get something without the red and green of Christmas showing! I have 7 family birthdays in Dec and Jan and it is a struggle sometimes to make them birthday-like instead of Christmasy. Ha, ha! Well done!

Diane, this is such a lovely card with all those pretty patterned papers and that gorgeouse rose! It's a wonderful card for a December birthday! Love how well you combined both challenges, and always appreciate seeing you in the gallery!
