I get to go home today, but here is another hotel room card. I packed a few fun backgrounds. This is a shaving cream stenciled background that I made with my kids. They had a ball with it. I thought it would be good for today's challenge, because the chevron print reminds me of a stockinette stitch and the shaving cream coloring reminds me of hand-dyed wool. I didn't have any sweater images, but I did find a page in my coloring book that had jackets and scarves, so I colored and fussy cut them. I also packed a few white die cut circles and squares, so I used one to add a fun quote from Coco Chanel. Of course, my scissor cut shaving cream background was a bit wonky, so I used my fingernail to distress the edges. I mounted it on black and then I used the closest thing I have to yarn with me--some black twine. I'm realizing now that I used to have a jacket that color...

Your creativity never slows down....even in a hotel room. Super warm and wintry card. How fun to include your kids in your cardmaking.

I love that you can take part in the challenges even while away from home. I love your card!
