I began by smooshing and splashing half of my tag with an unlikely color combination that I saw on Pinterest of Adirondack Denim, Pesto, Mushroom and egglplant and got this wonderful, wintry color. Can't believe those inks lasted 8 years and still going strong. I stamped and embossed the Tim Holtz tall pines then fussy cut two of the four. How I wish there was a die for those. Used some small trees from Impression Obsession to cut the smaller trees from other pieces of smooshing with the same colors in various shades having them lighter as they go into the background. Stamped the fourish in Versamark and embossed, stamped the sentiment in Versafine Clair and embossed in clear then lightly sponged the sky with London Fog Memento ink.

This is awesome! Those colors worked beautifully for the perfect winter background, and the subtle sky is perfect!

Oh my, this is absolutely gorgeous! The minute I opened up to the gallery page I clicked on it! That color you achieved is so perfect for this winter card. BTW, I have some of those Adirondack inks that are as old as yours and they're still perfect, as well ~ love happy things like that : ) Your lovely tag is in my faves!

Absolutely gorgeous soft green/gray color combination for your smooshing and splattering, Nancy. I love your die cut and fussy cut trees, sentiment and pretty stamped flourish. You continue to amaze and inspire me with your gorgeous tags each year on Loll's tag challenge. TFS my friend. Hugs..Nancy

This has such a light and airy feel, Nancy...like it is way up in the mountains and the wind is icy cold. I lik e how th e trees go from dark to light. A lovely scene tag.
