I cut the mask from an "allover" sticky note and placed the sentiment. I laid the leaf stencil over that and sponged the fall colors. I removed the stencil and used the turquoise and a sponge to add the background color. I have a different card in mind for Dini, but this one is going to Faith.

Love your fall leaf. I so enjoy walking at this time and swishing your feet through the golden leaves. so I know this card will be so helpful for them. I lovely way to know that you are thinking of them...that tech. worked well...Tfs..:0)

I'm not surprised a lot of people choose this technique, it's one with real punch and looks fantastic. As does your autumn leaf against the wonderful blue "sky".
Beautifully done. I selected this technique as well and combined mine with bokeh too. I actually got 3 cards made from the technique and process of making Faith card.
