I made this card for the Paper Hugs Teapot Challenge for Dina's mother, as Dina's father has passed away. I plan to try another of Dina's techniques to create a card for Dina also.
I watched Dina's Die Cut Masking technique to create my card. I used my sympathy die cut which was a bit delicate for this technique, but 3 tries later I got it.
I sponged over masking with CTMH inks: Petal, Gypsy, Bubblegum and Hydrangea. I added some hearts and stars with the same inks. I also added a few silver star stickers and then layered it on light purple cardstock.

This turned out beautifully. I enjoy that technique, and the masked sentiment had s totally different look to using embossing resist to keep it white. I love those little hearts and stars sprinkled over the fabulous sponged background.
