This week's teaparty was held for our own resident expert, dini (and her mom, Faith). Unfortunately, Dina's dad passed recently so we wanted to surround her and her mom with paper hugs. I chose one of Dina's technique tutorials for my card - watercolor on yupo paper. I used Peerless watercolors to create the background. To keep the colorful background visible, I just added the die cut hugs sentiment and a small vellum circle.

Fab background and a great sentiment - because it can certainly be hard to find what to say. I'm really impressed, this makes me want to try the technique again. I wasn't so happy with my first and only attempt so far.

I only recently got some yupo paper and the first time I tried a technique it did not come out so good. Then I tried a second one and love how it turned out. It is really expensive paper so I use if very sparingly on my cards so that I can have it for when I really need it on specific challenge. This is just stunning Jacqueline.
