I knew what I wanted to do the minute I saw the plaid poinsettia. The BG die cut is from Papertrey, cut from crumb cake and backed with a piece of riding hood red. I brushed some inks on the edges before attaching it to the vintage cream card base. The poinsettia was cut from a piece of Graphic 45 paper, the ripe avocado leaves added and a Doodlebug sprinkle for the center. The sentiment was stamped on vellum cardstock, using riding hood red, torn and attached. I'm really loving the idea of the plaid poinsettia--if only they came that was IRL!! Here's my inspiration. https://www.christmascentral.com/13-...pick-32638096/

Oh my goodness, a plaid Poinsettia! I love plaid and this card is so festive and creative. Love that die cut behind your flower, too! Into my faves : )
