Here is my card for Wendy's (Wendybell) F4A challenge of using a never before used stamp that has sit for awhile unloved. I certainly loved this PP set when I bought it but I think new Christmas themed stamps and dies pushed it aside! I stamped on WC paper using my MISTI to get a good impression and coloured with Tombow markers.
This card also serves as my entry to Lisa's (Shoe Girl) challenge to use cheesecloth on a card. What!? you said burlap? Opps! Seems there is no burlap in the house ...I hope cheesecloth will do. :-)

Your apples look like they were rubbed on a pair of jeans before placing in the basket (that's what we used to do as kids to make them shine)! It really works too! Love the look and the fact they are organic makes them even more Appealing! (pun intended)

I love the cheesecloth in place of the burlap. Your crate of apples are so beautifully colored. Into my favorites.

I am giggling here and I have no burlap there either! Your coloring is exceptional. And I'll bet those sweet thoughts will brighten whoever receives this card.

Ann, what a gorgeous card, and your apples are truly beautiful! Your coloring is stellar, and they do look jeans-shined as Roberta said! Love how you've added cheesecloth that is a great substitution for when we don't have burlap. Hugs, sweet friend! xoxo

Oh - now that is just so creative. I love the way you managed to get burlap (hessian here in Aus) onto your card. I didn't have any either - except for the stuff I use one my lemon tree to protect it from frost in winter! Always wondered how you get to stick it down on a card - but you must be able to buy it "sticky". The colouring of your apples is fantastic - just makes you want to take a bite out of the lovely crispy fresh out of them.
