This is my sample for Lisa's WTUI challenge, Burlap. I've combined a few additional challenges, Karen's 'TLC Doodled Plaid and Jan's Lacy Loveliness Teapot challenge.
I die cut leaves and acorns from stash paper, glued layers together, punched holes and applied Crystal Glaze to create buttons. Brayered ink on EF and embossed cs for plaid bg. Adhered to Kraft card base, added burlap strip, olive lace and faux buttons. Die cut hello from kraft and rust cs, layered to create shadow. Stamped, colored and fussy cut coffee cups. Doodled steam for cups, leaves and flourishes to complete. TFL

Wonderful texture and dimension with the burlap, lace, and crystal glazed acorns and leaves...love the hemp twine. Great buffalo plaid olive bg and coffee cups. I'm lovin' this for a masculine card as well!

Oh wow, this is brilliant Miss Carla. I love the challenege combinations although you had me searching for the lace.....found it.....loved it. Your fussy cut coffe cups are terrific and the doodled steam look great. You are sure to bring a lot of Teapotter smiles with this.

last night, because it was so mild, i sat outside in my rocking chair with a cup of coffee, handing out candy to trick or treaters. using colored lace (why didn't I think of that?) was a super idea.
