For our Teaparty exchange this month Jan chose lace as her theme. Well...I have a bunch of old lace so I knew for sure that a vintage card would be showing up in my gallery this week. I took 2 different dp , both having a script type look. I aged them by painting on some distress re-inker mixed with water and added a few drops of full strength re-inker. I distressed the edges and added some stamped lace. I have a whole set of Anna Griffin lace borders so I had my pick of different styles. I colored the woman/teapot with copics and added some vintage lace from my collection. I used a tickle present from Sabrina to cut the small teapot. The sentiment is computer generated....TFL!

Oh Polly, your wonderful vintage card made me laugh right out loud it did! I adore your vintage teapot lady with lace-trimmed dress no less (what a hoot). Your layers are gorgeous with all the color layering, stamping and sponging you did to them. The little teapot embellishment is adorable and what a fantastic sentiment too! How fun! ~Karen.

A vintage beauty, Polly! Your aged and distressed paper looks fantastic and l love the stamped laces! Your lady teapot stands out beautifully in that colouring and I love the sweet RAK teapot. Great way to do the sentiment, too!

I thought the lace borders were part of the paper design till I read back carefully. I love the one on the right edge of the layer. Super aging, very authentic looking especially with the darker patches. And the lace border on her coat... brilliant, so perfect.

I love the vintage feel on this card Polly and adding the lace to trim the image is genius. Some teapotter is going to get a real treat when they get this beauty in the mail.
