This card is for this week's Teapot Challenge with the recipients being fellow teapotters! I loved the challenge to use lace & have had this broderie lace for some time. I have also had these flowers for a while and thought it was time they were on a card! I didn't think this card needed a sentiment, I will write on the inside once I know the recipient.

The red flower is stunning, I love the layers. But for me the star of this design is that amazing filigree doily. Your design really shows it off to perfection. Thanks for posting this eye-catcher!

Sue that lace doily is awesome and incredibly beautiful. I love the flower, it looks so real and your beautiful lace on the bottom of your card!! You did a superb job on this card! Thank you for playing in my Teapot Challenge!

Beautiful card Sue! That red flower is a stunner and the eyelet lace so pretty! I don't think I"ve see that doily die before....it's quite fabulous and adds so much. Love it!

What a striking card this is - and so very vintage and elegant too! The flower is definitely the star of this gorgeous card, but for me personally, it is the eyelet lace you used on the bottom of the card along with the gorgeous die cut that is encircling your velvety flower. Wow! ~Karen.
