Shirley's Free for All challenge is to make a Halloween or Fall card and Robin's Free for All challenge was to Just be Yourself. I've had this partially done for a few weeks. Shirley's challenge was just what I needed to complete my Halloween themed card.
For Robin's challenge, I did my favorite thing, coloring people with alcohol markers and colored pencils. I cut around the image and used Crystal Glaze on the bottles. Embossed the brick bg and sponged with ink. Sponged inks on kraft paper to create woodgrain, then rubbed with beeswax for the table. Wish you could see the nice glow from the beeswax! Stamped the equation collage, then stamped and heat embossed the sentiment, sponged sentiment panel and assembled the layers on a black card base.

Oh wow Miss Carla I love everything about this. I love how you made the wall and table...at first I thought it was all part of the stamp. Your professor and bottles are coloured brilliantly, I can feel the glow from here. Love this!!!!

indeed, do you think he can make a dryyyyy martini? Love the dimensional table with the bottom edge highlighted, it is gorgeous and the bottles, drams, and whatnots are fantastic. The guy...Mr. Watson perhaps looks like he was great fun to bring to life. I'll take two olives with that cocktail! So fun to find this card in the gallery, Carla

This is a fantastic card, Carla! He is a great character with his bottles of chemicals that he is using to whip up a formula of toil and trouble! You did a great job with the table and wall! Great card, Carla!
