No MIX challenge yet and I need to be moving on so I had fun making my own mixed media Christmas fantasy. I started with the background which was smooshed DOX inks, stencilled with Judikins Microglaze and then spritzed with water, so there's a slight pattern in it. I stamped the large white snowflake from Art Journey and embossed it. Originally I was going to add the little church from TH's snow globe, but that was too much out of scale with the big snowflakes. So, I die-cut the trees from a piece of cling-wrap background, and the little bird from some embossed watercolored tissue paper. The words are cut from a tomato paste tube. The deer finally used up a piece of embossed and iridescent-iced piece of DP which has been in my box for several years. I flattened it as much as I could in the Wizard so that I could stamp on it, and the sponged him lightly and added details with a white paint pen and Liquid Pearls. The foreground is some odd textured tissue I found on my shelf, along with some Polar White flower soft. I matted it on black, then gold glitter card and mounted it on a white base.
I don't know why the photo looks so blurred - it's fine as edited in GIMP. Sigh...

I love your deer scene, Sabrina! Beautiful colors as well as a cute cardinal on the tree top! I don’t see anything blurred but then I do have my glasses on.....love the colors of your trees.

Not only are you a magical card maker, but you must be psychic...this fits the TIME theme of the MM challenge...Christmas Time! I recognised this as a beautiful Cook22 creation the minute I saw it. I still have some tomato paste tube you sent me (picture a big smile).

EVERY little bitty element of this card is ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS! Collage background is beautiful and are those lovely, lovely trees! A great, fun forest for little deer to frolic!
