Hi there, hope you're having a good day! My card is for the current Teapot challenge to send cards to Card Care Connection, which is a fantastic organization that sends cards to those suffering from cancer.
My card is quite simple. I used a lovely piece of patterned paper with the gold tree on woodgrain for the background, cut a couple of small banners from another piece of the same pp, then heat embossed the sentiment, layered it on the gold scallop oval and popped it up on thin foam tape to keep the card relatively flat for mailing.
Thanks for looking!
Stef

WOW that gold tree is so elegant and rich looking....hard to believe it's pp. I like that you kept it simple and added just the wonderful side banners and a sentiment. Thanks for playing along!

Wow! You are so smart. I was just about to bow out of papercrafting when I saw that gold embossing! Thank you for explaining so I can hang out a little longer. That is a wonderful use of pattern paper and design work! Awesome.

Beautiful, Stef. Love that paper that you made the main part of your design. Lovely gold details for the sentiment. Course now, I want to go looking for that paper, lol...
