I chose several patterns of DSP that I liked, cut them into flags of various sizes and adhered them to a Very Vanilla panel that was embossed with the Stylish Stripes Embossing folder. I chose one pattern that looked like stitching and used it for the border at the top. I wrapped 2 lengths of bakers twine around the top and tied them together in a knot leaving the ends long. With my piercing tool I poked a hole through the layers and inserted a Very Vanilla brad over the twine. I adhered this panel to an Old Olive card base and tucked the die cut leaves under the edge of the brad. I die cut the sentiment out twice, once in Old Olive and once in Black and adhered the Black one over the Old Olive one, leaving a slight shadow of Old Olive showing. As I was adhering it to the card front I gently arched the letters.

Very nice, Eunice! I like the subtle shadowing of your sentiment and the clever way you included the horizontal stitching. Thank you for joining us again at As You See It Challenge.

This is a really attractive card, Eunice. I like the diagonal stripe behind the vertical banners and the colours you have used. The curved and shadowed sentiment is a great element of your design. Thanks for joining us at As You See It Challenges.
