Julie suggested using die cut for the CAS challenge - Simply Stencils. I decided to do just that that with my LOVE die cut. I secured the square stencil and used washi tape to secure the paper stencil in the centre. I am not a 'sponger' and I'm not thrilled with the varying depths of colour but I was too nervous to press harder! Added a glitter heart to deflect your gaze!

Oh, Sandie, this is beautiful and so soft! I love this stencil you made using the word die. Brilliant idea and such a wonderful card to send love! I love the bitty heart! I've not done much stenciling and sponging myself, so I'm with you about being a bit hesitant. But you've pulled this off beautifully! Hugs!

Personally, I like the variations in color with the sponging (or perhaps that's because it's the look I most often achieve, too) These is nothing wrong with highlights and lowlights and in fact it adds to the interest. Nicely done.

I like the softness of the sponging. Pretty card.
