The Mix-ability challenge was so fun this week! Lydia shared a new way to deboss, with a gel plate. I applied a couple of colors of acrylic paint to the plate, then rolled the brayer to spread them over the plate. Then I lay down a Dylusions stencil that came with Holy Bird Stamps. I applied cardstock to that to make what Lydia calls a garbage print. (I loved it and will be using that, too!) then I picked up the cs and stencil. After that I lay down a cardstock panel that I had embossed with SU! Woodland Textured EF. Then, the tricky part, Lydia says, with raised part up , the other side is what is getting the color. You press on the non raised areas, so that is what is getting the color. Then you take it off. I really love how it came out! I also did this for Ina's S2S Challenge to have a bear on our card, and this is my second submission for W for the Alpha Challenge. Only this one the trees are correct! LOL
Thanks for looking!

I'm going to have to go take a look at the MIX challenge and technique! You've piqued my interest with this beautiful card. Those colors and the beautiful pattern on the debossed woods are stunning.
