Sympathy cards wasn't what I was planning to make on World Card Making Day, but that's what I need and all I had time for.
This one uses scraps from my box. When I was making Kandie's birthday card I had some tinted modelling paste left which I didn't want to waste, so I scraped it over a stencil on a square piece of card. There wasn't enough to fill the square - and what was left open was the perfect size to fit the sympathy sentiment and trim it down. I sponged the edges with peacock feathers and then defined them with a black Sharpie, then added some chunky gold EP.
The feather was also stamped on a scrap of something or other from my box. I stamped it in blue lagoon, and then added a tiny bit of gold EP so that it's only partially embossed. Cut it out, added some Liquid Pearl dots and curved it slightly with foam tape for support.
