I was so happy to find a bit of time this week to join both the Teapot and Sketch Challenges! I didn't get the card done as soon as I hoped, but was able to finish up today and get ready to mail off. I used a Suzy's watercolor print with the roses, colored with Copic markers and added to the card base along with the dsp with little white hearts. I painted the flowers with a glittery shimmer pen, popped the sentiment tag up on foam tape and was done.
Thanks so much for looking!

Wow, Stef! What a marvelous image, and it's the color of my favorite rose! You did a remarkable job of coloring the roses and including a soft blue behind them. I love the heart washi tape; it is a great addition. The beautiful roses have a lovely outline that looks like doodling. You get an A+++ for this beauty!

What a beautiful card! I'm really liking the yellow and black combo lately and this is a great example of how terrific they look together. That edging is fab!
