Next July, it will be 50 years since Neil Armstrong was the first man on the moon. He was the perfect choice: unflappable and humble. In a week, a movie will come out about that moon landing; not sure I need to see it since I saw the real thing. I remember being upset because there was a little static right when he said his famous quote and I totally missed it. What?????, I asked my parents. Thank goodness it's been repeated a million times. Loving the sizes for the F4A and LOVING THE MOON THEME. I have two more ideas (yes I have moon stamps), but I'll see if I get back to it.

Love the look of the Brushos. One of my favourite moon techniques is Perfect Pearls on heated glue - might get there tomorrow. Your astronaut stamp is amazing - and the sentiments are both inspiring. Very clever juxtaposition of the world with the matching sentiment, and the moon suggesting how high/far Armstrong's attitude took him.

Jean, you are one of the most creative people I know. This is outstanding! Love the sentiments you used on this as well as the original design! It's hard to create a great night sky but you managed perfectly!

Fabulous card!! Unfortunately, I was only three for the first moon landing, so I don't remember it, but I can only imagine how miraculous it must have been!!! I love how you combined the long card challenge...perfect for this!!

What a great card. I like that big moon and wonderful background for space. Wonderful Helen Keller sentiment. The small town very close to mine is the house, Ivy Green, where Helen Keller was born. Every year, there is a live performance of The Miracle Worker held on the grounds. Plus, they have a Helen Keller Festival yearly. I am probably about 12 miles from her birthplace.
