ABC10F5: I'm a week behind on the Alphabet challenge. Last week our letter was F and the double challenge was forest. I think I made it with this card and got to use my new evergreen trees die cut.
MIX295: thanks to an SCS friend, I was finally able to do this mix challenge because she sent me an envelope full of pieces of foil. There is lovely, sparkly green foil on my evergreen trees. I'm sorry it doesn't photograph better.
FS608: This week's featured stamper is the talented Chrissy (DancesWithHooves). I had fun scrolling through her gallery and found this beauty which inspired my card: WT669 TLC627 Bright Winter Thank You by DancesWithHooves at Splitcoaststampers I kept the same basic layout though I made it into a corner fold card.
TLC704: this technique challenge is to mix fonts. I pulled the merry from the Warm Words stamp set and the rest of the sentiment is from Penguin Candy Cane.
WT707: calls for using kraft card stock somewhere on your project. My card base is Crumb Cake, SU's version of kraft.
My trees are made using the mix challenge foiled impressionist collage technique. This was such fun!
I sponged the background for my trees and then put it through the Softly Falling ef. The sentiment is heat embossed with gold embossing powder.
One of my biggest challenges with this card was modifying the corner fold measurements to fit a 5x7 size because my tree die cut needed a bigger base.
This was a fun card to make. Thanks for looking!

Gorgeousness!! Weee your back in the saddle !!! I love the way the fold I’m assuming creates the magnificent frame. Going need to give this technique a try when I get my mojo going again.

Your card is really lovely Catherine. I was perplexed how you got the darker green on the trees until I read you used foil - how fun! You have made an amazing card for all of the challenges my friend! ~Karen.
