One new embossing folder later and my third card is starting to approach what I was imagining - but I think I only have enough of my serendipity background. (See TLC706 for the details.) I used assorted scraps and a TE sentiment from the same set as the one I used on the card stamped and embossed in silver, music score stamped and embossed in gold, and a poinsettia stamped in grey for my piece of Serendipity.
I embossed a white piece with the stars, added luster rub-ons to the embossed areas and then sponged the lower part with two blues. Added the Bethlehem die-cut and added all the outlines with a black pen. Added the die-cut star, edged the piece with a gold pen, matted onto black and then a white base.
