This is my card for alpha challenge round 10 letter F and for clean and simple challenge #501. I used a feather for letter F. My dad used to cut leaves and other shapes from wooden boards and then paint verses on them. I have a couple hanging on my walls. I wanted the feather to resemble a wood board, so I used several layers of chipboard to give it thickness.

Your so creative Sis Melody and this definitely looks exactly how you describe your dad’s work! And it’s as Sis Ann says gorgeous. I see you take after your dad .

Oh, I thought it was wood until I read. Great work creating it . Such a wonderful Fall card and a good memory of your Dad while you worked on it.

Wow! I love this Melody! Your leaves make such a lovely backdrop for this gorgeous feather you created. What a great tribute this is to the wonderful wood feathers your dad use to make and put verses on. ~Karen.
