WT707 ~ Use Kraft Card Stock
ABC10F5D ~ Forest (anything with more than one tree is a forest to us city folk.)
I inked up the tree stamp using markers and then stamped on the card stock - one color at a time. It was so pretty. Then I was inking up the sentiment when boom, my black ink pad fell on top of the card - UGH! So, I turned it over and started again, but didn't take the time to clean my stamp and start anew, so some of the light colors like mint macaron are not so light. I still like it though. I have to get a better grip or get the small ink spots! Anyway...TFL! For more details visit my blog at https://www.merlascraftycorner.com/2...nal-trees

Your ink pad story sounds like one of my craft room escapades - but the trees are still lovely, even though they may be darker than you intended. Your forest floor is pretty amazing, too! Reminds me of Robert Frost: "Whose woods these are, I think I know..." Thanks!

Your forest is lovely - and lol at your comment that more than one tree is a forest to city folks! You would definitely think I live in a forest then. I hate it when that happens with the ink pad! All that said, your card is lovely.

I am so sorry your ink pad fell on your wonderful card. You still did a terrific job recreating this. Thank you so much for playing along and pushing through to get this beauty in for the challenge.

This is gorgeous! Love the variegated greens on the trees and the swoop ground stamp from Waterfront - it works perfectly with this new set and it was mighty smart of you to think of it! I can empathize with you regarding the dropped stamp pad, it sounds like a normal stamping session to me... My tendency is to try to somehow cobble over/incorporate the flub into the design. You, on the other hand, had the wisdom to just start over. I personally think the slightly darker tint of the lighter green colors adds more interest and depth. They look more realistic and artistic! Nicely done!

Oh Sally, I have so been there my friend! What an awful moment when that ink pad lands on our finished card (sigh). However, you proved your weight in gold by persevering and creating another beautiful card on the back. I love how you used markers to get a nice contrast in the greenery here. Great job my friend! ~Karen.

What an evocative Christmas/winter scene. Those trees are beautiful. I feel your pain, I've just stamped the same panel FOUR times before I got everything right and no smudges.
