Another Halloween card for Send a Smile 4 Kids. I cut the image & greeting panels to size, following the sketch, from bristol paper. I stamped the cat, jack-o'-lantern from "Bear Ware 2," and greeting from "Best Witches" in Versafine ink. I used my MISTI to help me position the cat & jack-o'-lantern on their respective panels. For the cat, since it's a rubber cling stamp, I stamped it on a plastic grid sheet, then positioned my panel underneath, until the cat was lined up properly. Then I removed the grid sheet, and stamped on my paper. Since that image is solid, I used my markers to color in just the hat band & eyes. I also used a silver gel pen to color in the buckle on the hat band. For the greeting, I relied on my Stamp-a-Ma-Jig, to make sure I got it positioned perfectly, since it was smaller than the cat. I used my MISTI for the jack-o'-lantern, & colored it with my markers as well.
I cut an A2 size panel from the purple swirl paper from "Trick or Treat." I also cut a panel from one of the "Owloween Stew" papers to mat my image & greeting pieces. I adhered those to the striped piece, and mounted that to my card front. I added a small green strip under the cat, as per the sketch, and then adhered the card front to a white card base. Easy peasy!
