Can you tell what sort of books I like to read??? This card should give you a hint...lol. Yes, I'm hooked on mysteries! My favorites are probably Scandinavian mysteries (Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Icelandic...)..not sure why they are so interesting but I love 'em! I did the checkerboard flooring technique and added a printed out bg from an Edward Gorey site. The suspects on this are from the artist Edward Gorey...I have a few stamps with his images. They're pretty cool. I added the ribbon as a curtain and fastened with brads. I wonder "Hoo" will get this card....

Oh, sweet Polly!! This is AMAZING! Your creativity knows no bounds, and I love how you've created a "mystery theater" right now to the curtain! Amazing card, sweet friend, and I especially love your checkerboard flooring. I love it!! Hugs! xoxo

This is cool! I have not seen HM Gorey cards before......really love how you made the curtains too. I thought it was fabric not a ribbon. Great contrast of color on the B&W.

I love Gorey! And I did guess mysteries. Have you seen Trapped on Netflix (I think)? Ooooooooo, you must. I thought this might be a One4Joy card when I quickly looked at it. Well done, well done. I like mysteries too, suggest some from those countries for me, please.
