I focused on Angelica's:
-square card
-circle focal image
-strip across the card
-centre sentiment
-thin black mats
I changed:
-technique
-occasion
-fewer layers
I used a really fun technique with ColourBursts that I learned from Jenny C last week. It's quite simple and it gives unique, artistic results without completely losing control (this is key for me! lol!)
I stamped the wreath stamp with clean water onto watercolourcardstock. Then I sprinkled Lime Green colourburst powder over it and just waited for it to dry. The powder only starts to spread where there's water, so I ended up with a wreath shape of gorgeous blue/green/yellow colour. To add definition, I stamped the wreath over top, and embossed it with Platinum Sparkle embossing powder from Wow!

Ardyth, I just recently got two color groups of color burst. I am so excited to see your gorgeous card and the technique you used to create it. I can't wait to try this. I am in awe of your work.
Beautiful CAS card, Ardyth! I love the look you achieved with the color burst powder! I'll have to give your tech. a try, as I too struggle with controlling the powders.
