Another card for the CAS, Frame It challenge. This BG was made with alcohol inks, on translucent Yupo paper, following D. Brethauer's alcohol scrunch BG technique. I saw a card by Penny Ward, on the Memory Box Blog, where she used vellum behind a die cut and you make it an easel style, then put a tealight behind to light it up. I took the picture at a funny angle, so you could see light shining through the BG panel. The oval opening was cut from the front panel, backed with the die cut trees and the Yupo BG attached. I stamped the sentiment, daubered around the oval opening and added a die cut snowflake on the front base, to help hold the panel in place when it's opened up. Now I need to get a tealight to light it up for the recipient.
