ABC10O4: this week the alphabet challenge is on the letter O. My O is the old oak and oak leaves.
I used yesterday's sketch challenge to make this birthday card. I stamped the oak leaves in Crumb Cake on the Crumb Cake card stock for soft background texture. I did the same in Old Olive on the Old Olive lower part but more boldly this time.
I thumped the oak tree with Old Olive and Wild Wasabi marker for some variation of color. I heat embossed the sentiment in gold embossing powder and matted that part with Cherry Cobbler for a pop of color.
I don't think I've ever made such a tall card, this was fun. I did stamp the oak leaves on the envelope to match.
Thanks for looking!

I could have thought of oak tree, and since I have this stamp set it would have been perfect, but I didn't....sigh....but you did and your card looks A-mazing! I love the way you have the thin rings (representing the rings of a tree, I presume) surrounding the tree image! Brilliant!
