This will be for two challenges....Karen gave us some rich colors today...soft suede, berry burst, pool party. The teapotters destination this week is Bobbie'sgirl. Carol could use a cheering up. Lisa asked us to use a recycled item on our card. We will start with the recycled item....using Bristol paper did some coloring, and didn't like it. Turned it over and ran it though the printer for a new image on the other side. When coloring on Bristol, you do not need a large amt of water like water color paper. Lesson learned. Colored with the reinkers, embossed and sponged. My hummingbirds have left for the season....they are not real colorful like some hummers. This one looks more like the ones in my yard. Going to miss them...love to watch them. TFL

Just beautiful, Linda. And, you learned something as you were making your card so that is a good thing. We never quit learning about our craft. Wonderful sponging. I'll have to check out the teapotters challenge.

Oh, sweet Linda, what a joy to see your awesome artwork! I love the gorgeous flowers and the beautiful hummingbird! As usual, you did an outstanding job of coloring the image. The embossed corners are lovely. Great job of combining the challenges. Hugs!

Lovely image Linda! Hummingbirds are so fun to watch and you’ve captured this beauty on one of their favorites, a trumpet vine! The embossed corners with shading gives your card a vintage vibe!

Beautiful card Linda! The sponging really adds to this vintage card. I miss the hummingbirds, too.....saw a bunch of them last week before they headed south.

What beautiful shabby chic/soft vintage, Linda. I really love this, I know Carol will too. Your sponging is absolutely wonderful, gives the perfect soft vintage look.
