I guess I was just in a frame it frame of mind from the CAS challenge, so I made a little beach scene with a large masked frame around it. I always sponged my beach scenes, but Lyn has challenged us to use markers for it. IÂ’m glad she did, because it made for an interesting and different style than I am used to. I also liked the way she dotted her sand all over, so I tried that too. After I unmasked and stamped the sentiment, I noticed a starfish stirring on my desk, so I stuck one on. Perfect finishing touch, donÂ’t you think? Fun challenge!

Yes, love the starfish and this awesome beach card. Love this kind of card. Your sand looks great and your water, too.

Phew - I had to go back and reassure myself that Lyn had said any medium - it was sponging for me. I love the clean look with the reverse-masked frame and all the open space. And oh, the colour of your sea, reminds me of Greece. Beachy-eautiful.

Jen, your beach sympathy card is very calming and peaceful. Love your sandy beach and the way you used the mask to frame your peaceful scene. The starfish is the perfect finishing embellishment!
