This is my sample for CC704. Jeanne is our hostess and she has chosen granny apple green, coastal cabana, flirty flamingo and daffodil delight for her color palette. Dessert Option this week is summers last hurrah!
What could be more summer than a flower card? I needed an anniversary card for my brother and his wife. They are celebrating 45 years of marriage. My sister-in-law was 17 when she married my 19-year-old brother. This is such a milestone anniversary that I must send them a card.
I used the Stampin'-Up sets Blooming with Kindness and Stippled Blossoms to create my card. Stamped the flowers in the challenge colors and then the leaves in granny apple green. On the flirty flamingo flower, I stamped off once to get a more muted shade. I stamped off once on the leaves with the granny apple green also.
Layered the image panel on flirty flamingo cardstock and then onto a coastal cabana base.
Stamped my sentiment, added some coastal cabana bakers twine and a few flirty flamingo enamel dots to complete my card.
That's my sample. Hope you can play along with us as we give a sendoff to the summer of 2018.

Absolutely lovely card, Mary! I like that by rotating the stamp, your big blossom takes on a completely different look. Sweet hearts and twine finish it off. They weren't really that young when they got married, were they?!?!

Mary, your card is so appropriate for an anniversary, and a special one at that! My DH and I were married at the same age and Oct. 5th will make 44 yrs. for us. Your flowers look so pretty in the different colors. I like the added hearts and triple twine~

What a gorgeous card this is Mary. You have inspired me to pull this set out and use it now. I just love the way you have made the flowers in different colors and added in the green leaves too. The twine bow with the little heart center wraps this card up perfectly for an anniversary. Gosh, they were young when they were married so kudos to them for being married 45 years. That is marvelous. Your brother and SIL are going to adore this card you made for them Mary! ~Karen.

Mary this card is so pretty. Stippled Blossoms is one of my favorite stamp sets and you did such a beautiful job with how you arranged the stamps. Very creative! And WOW 45 years of marriage - very impressive. They will love this card.

What a beautiful card for your brother and sister-in-law's wedding anniversary! The flowers are so gorgeous and the leaves fill in some of the white space in between perfectly. The longevity of their marriage is big, and definitely something to celebrate, especially since they were married at such a young age!
