I made the word "Christmas" with the Marianne Design Alphabet letters from Col 1350 and heat embossed it with gold powder.
The background of my card is made with the "Gel plate Impressionism background" technique ( Thanks Lydia Fiedler for the tutorial -TLC 69 and die cut with die labels 4.
The glowing candles from Memory Box where die cut from the background paper twice, and popped up with foam dots for the front of the card. As the candles are open, I had to attach some white paper behind them. For the inside of the card I cut the candles away (see little photo).
I used afew golden sticker stars for further embellishment.

What a beautiful abstract background, a lovely setting for your candles. The gold and white sentiment looks great. The inside detail is a special finishing touch.
Striking! A rich, traditional feel to your card with fantastic technique and die cuts! Truly exquisite! Thanks so much for sharing it with us at Penny's!
