Japanese marbling....wow! You did a good job and your background looks very pretty. I liked your inspiration, also. Glad you black ink worked better for you. I guess we just have to experiment to get what works for us.

Your marbling looks fabulous! I just read that when using nail polish marbling the water had to be room temp. Too cold and it sinks to the bottom. Don't know if that applies to ink as well? I know when I made my nail polish backgrounds it was not room temp water. I look forward to trying it again. This print turned out beautifully! I love the colors! Pretty focal image too. When I saw that photo I thought there might be people that still had some marbling backgrounds to use!

I think I like how subtle that marbling turned out actually ( but, I tend to lean towards more softer colors any ways) this is gorgeous, I love the depth and bits of fibers too!
