 | | This is for Cathy's versatile sketch challenge. I used my favorite set of Stampin'Up! In Colors from 2013-15, which I haven't used in a long time. I dry embossed roses on watercolor paper and then painted the design with ink and an aqua painter brush. First, I spread water in the design areas to prepare the paper and then watercolor painted with the ink in the different sections. This is the first time I've done this technique.
I did a light watercolor wash in the open areas with Pistachio Pudding. Then I layered according to the sketch and embellished with the sequins and a birthday banner popped up on Dimensionals. I spread on glitter pen on the ridges and in the sections. This sketch could be used for techniques, patterned paper, stamping, die-cutting. The list goes on. I look forward to seeing how YOU utilize the layout.
May I encourage you to try something new? Thanks for looking at mine today. Have fun with it! |
