I went outside and got a silver maple leaf. I dabbed it with pigment ink, and brayered it onto white cs. Stamped the saying on top, sponged the edges with mustard, added the gems. Easy! Thanks Sabrina, and Judy for the technique.
Inside it says:
"Remember that while you are raking pile after pile!"

The stamped leaf is so creative, and you used the perfect colors to inspire a feeling of fall. I also like that you used jewels for embellishment to echo the sentiment. Nice touch!

I'm glad you had fun trying out something different today, Anne. And you added your typical humour inside, too. Yep, it bugs me that we have to do quite a bit of leaf sweeping given that we don't have any trees and it's all leaves from our neighbours. And alas, in our climate we don't get as much of the gorgeous red that you do, most trees just change from green to dull dingy brown. But the ones that do change, yes, they are jewels.

Your leaf prints came through so well and I like the sentiment; I don't think I've heard it before, but it describes the colors of fall leaves perfectly.
