This is one of the cards I made as a sample for this week's WTUI challenge, which you will be able to find HERE.
See the challenge for a link to the tutorial I used. My leaves and acorns were cut with the Autumn Accents die, and the acorns were coloured with Inktense pencils, with Glossy Accents on the acorn.
The background layer is a gel print, embossed with Pinewood Planks and added to a white base. I may add a sentiment in the bottom right corner, but I'm not sure yet. The colours of distress re-inkers I used were fired brick, spiced marmalade, mustard seed, vintage photo, peeled paint and wild honey.

Beautiful leaves and realistic looking acorns; they stand out so nicely against that background. I like the woodgrain embossing, it has an aged barnboard look.

This is beautiful, Sabrina This is one of my favorite techniques, especially with leaf images. Your leaf colors really pop against the gorgeous blue of your background.

Your backgrounds are always to much fun to really look at! I have yet to delve into gel plates, you make it look intriguing. Thanks for the really fun challenge!
