Pam is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has asked us to make a card using Cherry Cobbler, So Saffron and Early Espresso. The dessert option this week is Back to School. I get a small serving of low-cal dessert this week--books, critters reading, but no sentiment on the front. Alas! I don't know any students or teachers! This card will go to a good friend who is very active in her local Friends of the Library group.
I used a new-to-me set from Mama Elephant, Book Worm. I stamped the images, then cut them out with my Scan 'n Cut, and colored them with Copic markers in the challenge colors. Thank goodness we're allowed to use all of the colors from the Stampin' Up! neutrals family! I was able to color some of the book covers in Night of Navy and Mossy Meadow (equivalent Copic colors) for a slightly broader palette.
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!

This is so sweet Barbara, I adore those cute readers and the stack of books! I almost went for this stamp set and now after seeing your card, I think it's a must.
