This card was inspired by this week's Global Design Project, which is to CASE the Designer. I admire Janneke's style. This was perfect to help me come up with two cards. This is for my husband's parents. I made a similar one for my mom and step-dad, who are celebrating their 30th. I actually made my mom's card first, which was a little simpler b/c I was under a time crunch. I was so proud of myself for making the card so quickly until I remembered my mom doesn't really care for yellow. Whoops!! But, it was kinda funny, where we went to eat is a fun, local ice cream shop. And, she got lemon custard ice cream - it was the same color as my card.
But, then I remembered my MIL likes yellow!

Awesome design! I love the colors you used, and how you echoed the green of the leaves in the green brads on the other side of the card. Great job, and I'm sure your father- & mother-in-law will love it!

Super pretty anniversary card, Michelle. How wonderful to have two sets of parents with long anniversaries - great examples to the future generations. Beautiful flowers and glitter. Hugz
