I was out of baby cards and don't want to be caught without one when I need it. Carla's high flying challenge reminded me that I have this cute baby paper pack. So I just cut the paper to fit the card and added a sentiment. Of course I stamped it in black first and then stopped myself. I just never think to use any ink but black. Glad I did today.
This happens to also be the same theme as CCEE1834, so I'm joining them today
I also finally found a card to use TLC32, Spirelli Corners. The technique seemed so easy to me, but I messed it up. I could've pulled the stitching out and started over, but I liked the way it looked anyway.

Wow, so simple and so perfect! Love that stitching, can't see anything "messed up". Great colors, great way to personalize that paper design!

So cute, Jen. Your spirelli corners remind me of the netting over vintage hot air balloons, perfect for your sweet card! Thanks for flying high and playing in my challenge.

The spirelli looks fine to me and is such a clever way of echoing all the ropes that go with a balloon. What sweet paper. I'm the same, I always default to black for stamping!

Well now I have to goggle something new (to me) Cause I love the looks of those stitched corners on your sentiment. The DP is so perfect and sure saves time when making a quick card.

Great paper and love the stitching in the corners. I am with you I stamp so many sentiments in just black and some days I just need to remember there are other great colors that would work. Super cute baby card.
