This is for Angie’s Inspiration Challenge – Life is good. Also, this goes for Janine’s DTGD Challenge.
We have fabulous sunsets and sunrises here in the Southwest so I was drawn to this image.
First, I masked a line across the Island Indigo panel. Then I stamped the circle/sun with bleach. I let it sit while the paper color was bleached out. It is so cool to watch. When it was dry, I used a sponging tool to blend color on the sun and radiating outward. I selected a sentiment that relates to a new day. I heat embossed the verse above the sun and the saguaro cactus on the horizon. I decided not to draw a line across; instead I followed the advice on my inspiration piece and kept it simple. The message is also simple – this day is a gift, be happy in it. TFL

This is such a beautiful card and so like your inspiration. I like how you did the sun to make it spread outward.
