This is another card for the challenge at fusioncardchallenge.blogspot.com. It is also for sketch challenge #295 at handstampedsentiments.blogspot.com.
I was going for a clean and simple card. I cut out a flower from the Tropical Chic designer paper. The background had some white and green, so I colored the white parts with green to get consistency. I added some gold stickles to the flower and then matched it with some gold dotted paper. The scalloped green strip is just one half of the leaves on the Tropical Chic paper.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. My oldest daughter is turning 18 today. Where does the time go? We are going out to eat tonight to celebrate her. Then we'll have cake at our house afterwards. She picked a blackberry lemonade cake from Whole Foods which is so pretty with ombre purples around the edge and blackberries on top. I may have to make a card inspired by it!

I love the wood background with leaves. The touches of gold really make the card pop. Great take on our sketch! Thanks for playing at Hand Stamped Sentiments.
