This is for Sandee's DTGD Challenge. I used Creamy Carmel craft ink to clear emboss the image and then lightly colored the flowers and leaves in Guava and Pear. I distressed the edges with a tool, tearing one corner and then ran the edges on my Distress Oxide ink pad and used a brush to brush & stipple on more ink. I broke down a scrap of paper with distressing, sanding and bending & crumbling was used to cover up a big blotch. No mistakes, just opportunities for embellishment. Tied on some ribbon with a scrap of trim in the knot and added some pearls. The background paper has gesso smeared on it. A lot to describe. Thanks for looking!

Love your card! great image and coloring. I love your attitude and creative spirit. This is what I try to do when something doesn't go as planned. It is an opportunity for other embellishments or to change the original design a little.

I was trying to explain that to my Desmond this morning when he accidentally tore his paper putting his card together. He cried and cried while I told him that things like this happen to us all the time and we just cover them up with cool stuff. I'll have to show him your card
It's gorgeous by the way. Fabulous shabby chic!
