'Put a bird on it.' Isn't that an old stamper's mantra? If you don't know what to do, etc.?
Combining three challenges today. Instead of doing a beach card for yesterday, I did the faux linen, which uses sand paper. I know I've done this before. I don't have much of a garden but there is this cool plant called Joe Pye Weed, which I thought was a real weed but it isn't, as I learned last year at the WI State Fair. It's very tall, is a perennial, has big purple/pink flowers, which look awesome in a vase, and I love it.

Beautiful card, love that soft gray background! The flower's not too shabby , either. Around here (PA) Joe Pye Weed seeds are dried and used as beads in making jewelry - necklaces and bracelets.

Love Joe Pye weed in the late summer with the goldenrod and asters all blooming on the road sides and fields! Your muted colours are wonderful and I certainly see your birds in that great background!

I think your faux linen looks great, love the combination of the bird with the music score. Your flower looks gorgeous. I've never heard of it before, must look it up. I remember the 'put a bird on it" phrase...and phase. Nothing wrong with adding birds, I'm all for it.
