I sized the image in Photoshop, & printed it onto a piece of watercolor paper. I used my Inktense pencils to color it. I picked up the color from the pencils with a damp paintbrush, and then applied it to the paper. I also used a blue Inktense pencil & paintbrush to paint a "halo" around the image, just to soften it a bit. After the panel dried, I cut it into sections, cutting out about 3/16" in between each piece.
I created the greeting in Photoshop & printed it onto a scrap of pale yellow paper. I die cut that with an oval die. I adhered all my pieces to a panel of orange cardstock. There was a bit too much space above the greeting compared with under it, so I tied a small bow with some jute twine, and glued it above the greeting. Finally, I added Glossy Accents to Cocoa's nose for some shine.
