This time I used some metallic silver nailpolish and love the results. I also used watercolor paper. The background was so amazing that I kept it simple with a die cut sentiment from Papertrey Ink. Products used were:
• Papertrey Ink Text Block Birthday Horizontal
• My Favorite Things A2 Stitched Rectangle
• Fingernail Polish Marble Background
• Canson XL 140# Cold Press Watercolor Paper
• Neena Classic Crest 80# Solar White Cardstock
• Gina K. Designs 120# White Cardstock
• Darice Sticky Back Foam
• Tombo Mono Multi Glue
• Ranger Multi Medium Matte

I can't imagine polishing my nails with that blue, but you are right, it makes amazing marbled art. It's eye-catching and exciting. TFS!

Oh, my! This color combo is outstanding too! You have given me an idea! I have a birthday die cut I might try with a colorful background! Thanks for the inspiration!

I am wondering if each layer of the marbling background has its own dimension or not, to me, this appears to be so, and if it is, all I can say is WOW! (X3 at least) The blue/grey/white background is so vivid yet cohesive and this card would make an excellent masculine birthday card. I love the clarity of the birthday sentiment with the first two words in cursive and the rest all in capital letters and the frame around it is just right. Do you know that most kids in high school cannot read cursive writing--it didn't occur to me that they would not be able to read it as well as not write it. To me, this has been a colossal mistake... I digress! I love this card, and I think it's one of the best masculine cards (it could be intended for a female, but it could also be used for a male recipient) I have seen in a long time, as it is interesting, full of life and color without being lacey or full of glitter. This is COOL, and it is going into my favorites.
