An old friend from high school contacted me and asked me to make him a special card for his wife. He says they're really struggling and on the verge of divorce, but he wanted to know if I could make him a card to give to her to say that they're worth another try. Oh man, this is the first card I've made to try to save someone's marriage. He said they're like oil and water right now, but he wants to keep trying because they've made such a beautiful family together. That's why I thought this background would be perfect because the colors don't blend together but they combine to make something beautiful. I found this sentiment on Pinterest and I kept the main panel very simple to clearly deliver the message.

What a great symbolic background to give extra depth to the card. The library clip looks great here, too. I hope the card works. Reminds me of an old song, love is not a feeling, it's an act of the will.

What a special gift to be able to help out your friends through your art. Your card is beautiful, and I think the sentiment is perfect. Love is a Decision. I hope that they can work things out.

Perfect - somber in parts, and brilliant in others - oh so intertwined! Wishing you happier occasions for next endeavor with the technique - you certainly earned a bit of careless fun!
