This is for Dina's DTGD challenge. I challenged myself to use this Penny Black stamp in my Bible (it was laying on my counter after doing a card for another DTGD Challenge). I found a great spot right before the start of Nahum. The first chapter of Nahum talks about God's wrath against His enemies and talks about storms. I thought I would do a snow storm. Well, it didn't quite come out looking like a snow storm but I like the look.
Loved your challenge Dina. If anyone isn't playing in the DTGD challenges - you need to check them out and come play too. Check out the Home Page for details.

Your writing is beautiful, Nancy, such an elegant and beautiful font to write out these verses. I really like your coloring to the right, the red and the green. I couldn't read what was written in the middle of the coloring, will have to take a closer look. This is truly lovely!!! I haven't done any bible journaling but I know friends who have and I've been getting interested, it's a beautiful art form and a wonderful way to praise our Savior.

Wow - you've achieved a fabulous watercolored look! I love how the images all blend together and yet each one has its own space. Well done!

This is so lovely, Nancy. You have a terrific sense of design...which is a God-given talent...one either has it or one doesn't. : ) This piece has such a casual and carefree quality which gives the feeling of "of the moment". Love it.
