I made this card for Lydia's Dare To Get Dirty challenge. This is my first card of the event. This whole thing is so much fun. One of the things that I love about Dare To Get Dirty is that it pushes me to try new things. If you are not a Fan Club member, you will want to join so that you can play along. You can find out how to join here. There are prizes and huge sense of accomplishment to be had!
I just love how this turned out and how I was able to use a die in my stash that had never gotten any use!
Thanks for looking!

That is one thing I love about DTGD events, I use things that have been rarely used or never used! Your background is fabulous! Love that cute paper airplane!

Oh, Toni, I love your background! Putting the vellum over it was a brilliant idea, and I love the sentiment with the paper airplane! Fabulous card, my friend! So glad you've joined in for the DTGD! It's such fun, and you do get to use things in ways you never thought of!! Hugs and love! xoxo

Evokes all sorts of classroom memories from kids trying to send notes when I was a full time teacher to a team leaders course I went on. Thanks for the sweet reminders with your cute card

I love how the vellum changes the depth. That paper airplane is pretty cool, and I thought the path line was yarn, so I guess even a line can have an amazing textural effect.
